So here are major indications to know that someone is going to be senior. 

Change in health: Change in health is noticed among senior citizens and such change in health conditions include hearing losses, hypertension, arthritis. But it is not logically right because some young people may have such medical conditions. When there is proportionate balance between growing age and change in health conditions, then someone is going to be senior. 

A shift in social priorities: When I reached 55, then I changed a lot of decision that I did on regular basis. Then I opted for family time and social engagement more instead of going outside and working extra hour. This way, it is common to see that people with growing age shift their choice of spending time in such areas. 

Stepping away from work: Senior citizens leave their work and it is a full time and extensive work. Family members also recognize such retirement time. Even though you are going to be senior and about to leave the full-time job, but you may still have options to continue part time job. This can have a purpose of leading life. 

Receiving senior respect and discounts: If someone is 50 or older, then we see that our young generation respect and give space for them a priority.
